The Team Churches

Halberton is one of a Team of six parishes within the Cullompton Deanery in the Archdeaconry of Exeter within the diocese of Exeter. The membership of the six parishes comprise the Sampford Peverell Team Mission Community.

The churches in the Team are the parish churches of:

    Burlescombe  -  St Mary the Virgin
    Halberton  -  St Andrew
    Hockworthy  -  St Simon & St Jude
    Holcombe Rogus  -  All Saints
    Sampford Peverell  -  St John the Baptist
    Uplowman  -  St Peter

Here is the monthly pattern of services throughout the Team:

When there is a 5th Sunday in the month the congregations of all the Team churches join together for a celebration of the Eucharist at 10.30am hosted in turn by one of our churches.  For 2011 the Team Services are:

A weekday service of Holy Communion is held at 10.00am on Tuesdays at Burlescombe, Wednesdays at Halberton and Thursdays at Sampford Peverell.
