Halberton Pre-School,
formerly Halberton Playgroup, was opened in September 1969 to provide pre-school education and facilities which were needed in the
village and surrounding areas. Its aim is to
provide a safe, secure and happy
environment with a wide variety of resources and activities where
three to five year olds
can broaden their experiences and awareness of the world around them. |

The
Pre-School is a non-profit making organisation with charitable
status and is run by a voluntary
committee which is elected at the AGM each June. We
follow OFSTED recommendations and are
regularly inspected by them. Our latest report can be
viewed at www.ofsted.gov.uk.
We
have our own premises located on the site of Halberton Primary
School which enables
us to have excellent contact with the school
Our
qualified staff attend regular training in the form of courses
and workshops run
by 'Early Years' agencies and all hold a 'First Aid'
certificate.
