The first step in
this process was the Vision Day which was held at Halberton Village Hall on 12th
April 2003.
The Vision Day was well
attended, with over 110 members of the community sharing their views on the future of the
parish.
Displays
from a wide range of agencies and organisations helped give everyone a
focus and insight into what we may be able to achieve in the future.
At the Vision
Day, everyone had the opportunity to make written comments on all aspects
of life within our community.
The
response was very encouraging, and altogether takes up more than 20 pages of A4
paper!
We would like to

of you who attended and contributed in this way.
In
summary, people very much appreciate Halberton Parish’s quiet rural setting,
the village atmosphere, and the high quality of the local natural environment,
particularly the canal.
